Preset Interpolation Easing

Interpolation of scenic, performer or blackbox presets, triggered either through the Presets grid or directly from their preset interface, can follow different curves. The curve is called easing and defines the evolution of the speed of the interpolation, achieving different feelings.

The default curve is in_out_sine, because it progressively increases the speed at first and progressively decrease it at the end, producing a smooth interpolation without abrupt speed change. It can be changed to any of the 30 other curves, which you get a preview of on the right after selecting it in the menu on the left.
